Your Cost Calculator

This is the price for which you have agreed to purchase the home.
Normally, you will have provided a deposit with the offer to purchase. Enter your deposit as a dollar amount.
How much downpayment will you be providing? Enter your down payment as a dollar amount.
As a general rule you can buy a home with as little as 5% downpayment. If the value of your downpayment is less than 20%, you will need to insure your mortgage with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) or other provider. The value of your down payment as a percentage will be calculated for you automatically.
There may be fees from your lender for setting up your mortgage, such as processing fees and bank inspections. Enter the fees here.
Please indicate whether the home you are purchasing is new or a resale home.
Please indicate whether the home has an oil furnace.
Only provide approximate yearly taxes if you did not choose "new home" above.
Please choose the month of closing. You do not need to provide the month of closing if you chose "new home" above.
